Sonja Parks is a Minneapolis and Texas-based actor who brilliantly plays 14 distinct characters in a play about an urban garden called Seedfolks, which is currently running at Chicago Children's Theatre through March 22. Ruth Kerzee, executive director of the Midwest Pesticide Action Center, previews their Spring Fling 2016 fundraiser. Karen Hudson, co-founder of Illinois Citizens for Clean Air and Water (ICCAW) and Jessica Chipkin from Crate Free Illinois explain how ordinary citizens have little to no recourse to stop CAFOs from being constructed in the state.
