November 8, 2015 - SPILL: The BP Disaster on Stage

Leigh Fondakowski is the writer and director of the play SPILL, which is running at Timeline Theatre Company in Chicago. She went to Louisiana coast to interview people connected to the 2010 BP catastrophe in the Gulf of Mexico,, which resulted in the deaths of eleven people and the release of five million barrels of oil into the Gulf--the worse marine spill in history. Mike devotes the entire show to his conversation with Fondakowski about the disaster, the reaction of the people who lived it, and how that story was brought to the Chicago stage.
