Jim Slama is the founder and president of FamilyFarmed, which, for the eleventh year, is producing the Good Food Festival and Conference in Chicago. This is the original sustainable local food trade show in America and, over three days at the UIC Forum, itpresents the business, health and fun side of food. Then Mike stops by the Chicago Flower and Garden Show at Navy Pier, where he chats with landscape architect Scott Mehaffey, who designed one of the rose gardens in the show, and Dan Kosta from Vern Goers Greenhouse, who didn't work on a show garden, but who has some gardening advice for spring. Finally, Mike asks Bren Haas why she started an online Twitter event called Gardenchat.
