Leah Gauthier is a food artist (yes, you read that right) who has almost single-handedly managed to rescue the famed Marshall Strawberry from oblivion. She reports on her progress. Lisa Kivirist is the author of Soil Sisters: A Toolkit for Women Farmers. She and fellow farmer Jen Riemer of Riemer Family Farm talk about the difficulties women face in starting their own farms, and promote a couple of events that they hope will encourage women who think they have an urge to work the land.
